Here you will
find a small sample of some of my imagery I am producing for my
Art Foundation Course.
As the site
grows in size I will be updating it with regular new images, and to come
soon, some from my recent trip to the red sea and the famous wreck of the
THISTLEGORM
I get such a buzz
from photography, I thought it would be an ideal opportunity to use this
new medium to display some of my favorite photos.
It never ceases
to amaze me how fast I can shoot off a roll of film.
All my work is
in black and white. The tones and contrast of black and white give an image
so much more atmosphere.
There is a purity
in black and white. From the shooting of the image, through the dark room,
to printing the final image, all of which I can control, change , and
produce the image the way it was seen through the viewfinder in the original
shoot.
None of these images
have been through Photoshop or any other digital enhancement other than being
scanned. I am afraid I am somewhat of a purist.
